I placed an order for my console safe during the Black Friday sale and received an invoice via email. I waited patiently, but after a month, I still hadn’t seen any tracking info. So, I reached out to Lock'er Down through email, and finally got word that my safe was set to ship in a few days! The customer service left a lot to be desired since I had to initiate contact for updates. After I ordered, I noticed other reviews mentioning similar issues with delays. On the bright side, the console safe is fantastic! I can’t wait to install it, and they even threw in some extra goodies I didn’t ask for, probably to make up for the poor communication and the long wait. I held off on this review until I got my console safe, which is why I’m giving them a 5-star rating instead of a 1, despite the customer service hiccups.

I got the Lock’er Down extreme console safe, and let me tell ya, the quality blew me away! The steel is thicker than I expected, making it perfect for keeping my stuff safe in the car when I'm not around. It’s pretty discreet, too, so it doesn’t draw attention while still letting me access my trays and USB ports. Installation was a breeze, and there are no obvious spots for prying. It really gives me peace of mind knowing my belongings are secure. I’m super happy with this purchase, and it was definitely worth the wait. Since this is a small business, a little patience goes a long way, and honestly, the wait didn’t take away from how great the safe is.

This is my second buy from Lockerdown. I've had two Chevy Silverados (20 and 22) and installed Lockerdown safes in each. I really appreciate being able to secure my documents and other items from theft. This safe features a well-designed opening around the factory console light, which greatly improves visibility inside the safe during nighttime. The team is fantastic and super easy to deal with. Definitely recommend!

This company and their product are just fantastic! The instructions were straightforward and to the point, the vault fit like a glove in my truck, the quality of the build is top-notch, and I'm really happy with it! Installation was a breeze. The fit was spot on, and I'm quite pleased!

I've had my 2014 Tacoma for a decade, and I used a Tuffy console safe that did the job. I figured a smash-and-grab would take longer than three minutes, so I felt pretty secure.

A couple of months back, I got a 2023 4Runner with a console safe installed by the distributor, and it felt just as secure, maybe even a bit heavier. Still, I thought someone could pry it open in about four to five minutes, given its weight.

Last month, I ordered a 2023 Tacoma, but the distributor didn’t offer a console safe. I did a bunch of research online. This month, I put in a Lock’er Down console safe, which took me around 20 minutes to install (and trust me, I’m not the handiest person). I managed to remove two screws and then put two back in at the bottom of the console.

Following the instructions, I added four washers to the console lid, but it wouldn’t latch. A quick 30-second call revealed I had done it wrong; the washers should’ve gone on the underside of the lid. Once I fixed that, it worked like a charm.

I got it all set up, but I wasn’t a fan of the four-tumbler lock, especially after hearing about the electronic option. I called to inquire, and the next morning, a new lid showed up at my door. Three screws later, I was all set. This new lock is a total game changer, and I highly recommend you get it.

Do I think this safe could be broken into? Sure, but it’d take about 15 to 20 minutes, in my opinion, and you’d need the right tools. I spoke with Lock’er Down twice, and both times, the experience was top-notch.

Overall, this console safe is fantastic. Super easy to install solo, and the folks in San Antonio are really nice and helpful.

I just got my safe, and it came in fantastic shape. At first, I was a bit worried about how long it would take to get here, but after chatting with Steve Morris, he cleared everything up for me. The shipment was delayed a bit because of the weather, but that’s all good. When I opened the box, I found a couple of small LED light pucks, a gun magnet, and a neat little flashlight. They even included a handwritten note on the invoice, which was a nice touch. The best part? This product is made in the USA, and if I run into any problems, I can actually talk to a real person for help. I haven't set it up yet, but it seems pretty easy. I'm excited to install it in my truck. This will let me keep my Vaultek in my RV or hotel while I'm on the road. Big thanks to Steve for sorting out my order! I gotta say, this item really blew me away. The quality is way better than any gun safes I've had before. When I reached out to customer service for a delivery date, they were fantastic. Plus, the packaging and the personal Holiday note were such a lovely addition.
